Our systems allow premises to be alarmed even when occupied, providing a welcome safety feature when persons are alone in the house or office.
Our technical services department encompasses intruder / burglar alarms, CCTV, access control and electronic surveillance. We are the islands largest supplier of intruder alarm systems and provide a service to the government, residential, commercial and industrial sectors. You will find our alarms systems in private households, government buildings and many of the islands commercial buildings.
Alarm Monitoring
Our team of engineers provides comprehensive 24/7, all-island support and in conjunction with our manned control room, ensures we always have somebody on hand to assist you.
Our mobile patrol service and guarding section can have staff on your premises, usually within the hour, often much less. In fact, our key holding service ensure you or your staff need not enter the premises at all.
We will send a vehicle and guard and liaise with the police. We will even affect repairs in your absence if you require it.
Our systems and processes are independently audited and we are National Approval Council of Security Systems (NACOSS) gold members, signifying the highest level of quality assurance. G4S are also founder members of the British Security Industry Association (BSIA). We hold ISO 9001–2008 accreditation.
Fire Extinguishers
As part of our business development we have added Fire Extinguisher Installation and Servicing to our services. In addition, we offer Fire Warden training to ensure that businesses have people within their organisations who can take the lead, should the need arise. We have worked in conjunction with other organisations to develop and deliver their own procedures as part of in-house training schemes; training can be carried out on your own premises or at our premises based at Isle of Man Business Park.
Our IFEDA (The Independent Fire Engineering & Distributors Association) trained service technicians assess our customer’s fire extinguisher requirements in accordance with BS5306 parts 3 & 8, before installing the appropriate fire extinguishers, fire blankets and required health and safety signage. This training covers all aspects of the requirements of B.A.F.E. Scheme SP101/ST104. Periodic advice, checks and maintenance of fire extinguishers is provided by our technicians and management of this sector of the G4S business.
People Safe
The development of our new service, ‘People Safe’ offering valuable assistance at the touch of a button, to loan workers in the Isle of Man, is one of our exciting new ventures.
The ‘People Safe’ device is discreet and can be used quickly and covertly. A link is provided to a 24/7 call centre which can activate a response from either a Security Company, the Police or a colleague, dependant upon what has been agreed with the user.
Another feature available on ‘People Safe’ is an alarm which periodically sends a signal to the device. The user in turn acknowledges receipt of the Alarm thus confirming to the 24/7 call centre they are safe and there is no need for concern.
